Peak Water Demand Calculator for Designing Plumbing Systems

This seminar will review how to use the Water Demand Calculator (WDC) when designing a plumbing system, steps for pipe sizing, examples of use and misuse of the WDC, and a look at cost savings.

Daniel P. Cole is the Senior Director of Technical Services for IAPMO. He was a licensed Journeyman Plumber, Contractor, and Plumbing Inspector in the state of Illinois and is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE). He chaired the working group for the development of the Water Demand Calculator™ and received the ASPE Award of Scientific Achievement in 2018. He is the Secretariat for the National Standard Plumbing Code. He also serves on the American Water Works Association M22 Committee and the ASPE Standards Committee.
