A Burning Question: What is Acidic Condensate?
During this presentation, we will discuss what acidic condensate is, how it’s formed, and the damage it can cause
if not properly treated—while hitting on the latest regulations that are driving the adoption of condensing
technology. But most importantly, the presentation will explain a reliable and code-compliant solution to safely
treat and discharge condensate: a condensate neutralizer, which is the missing piece to every high-efficiency, gas-fired
appliance installation.
The presentation will also teach attendees how to properly size, install and maintain these purpose-built filtration
devices to protect homes/buildings and the environment.
Key takeaways:
• How acidic condensate is formed in gas-fired, high-efficiency appliance installations and the extensive
damage it can cause if not properly treated
• The applicable industry, federal, state and local code regulations
• What a condensate neutralizer solution is and how to properly size, install and maintain these filtration
devices
• The latest federal regulations that are driving condensing installations
• The opportunity for the heating and plumbing industry professional: offer customers the complete solution;
provide thought leadership; drive market growth and potential to earn recurring revenue
